Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active New York State PTA license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement restorative and maintenance programs for geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience with patient transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of standard rehab equipment required.
• Current documentation and charting skills in electronic medical record systems preferred.
