Work Environment

Located in a community-focused area of Middletown, NY, our outpatient facility is designed to provide a comfortable and state-of-the-art environment for both patients and staff. The clinic operates on a regular Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Our team collaborates closely in a friendly atmosphere, ensuring that therapists can concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care without the pressures of excessive caseloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities to determine specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on patient goals and evidence-based practice.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions to facilitate recovery and enhance patient mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to promote lasting health benefits.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sustain Recovery Rehab Center, you will work with a diverse population of patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals seeking to improve their mobility after surgery or injury. Our focus is on outpatient therapy, which allows us to provide individualized attention to each patient throughout their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications

• Current and valid New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, practices, and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of physical therapy experience is required.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
