Move Better Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in New Windsor, New York. Work Environment

The position is located at our outpatient office in scenic New Windsor, NY, where our team operates in a structured environment that promotes both patient and employee well-being. We maintain a manageable caseload of 6–7 patients daily, allowing our therapists to dedicate ample time to each individual's treatment plan. With regular operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, this role allows you to strike a healthy work-life balance without the stress of weekend shifts or extended hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, utilizing standardized assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address unique needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and analyze clinical progress, making adjustments to treatment methods to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients in effective mobility techniques and rehabilitation exercises to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Accurately maintain comprehensive clinical records, ensuring adherence to documentation standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to enhance care coordination and delivery across therapy disciplines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on orthopedic rehabilitation, serving patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions such as arthritis and sports-related injuries. Our commitment to delivering quality care means you will work closely with patients of varying age groups, backgrounds, and health statuses, tailoring your approach to ensure effective recovery paths for each individual.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree is required.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) to streamline documentation processes.
• Prior collaboration in multidisciplinary teams is beneficial for enhancing patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
