Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions, identifying specific rehabilitation needs based on thorough examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices aimed at enhancing mobility and strength.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to facilitate recovery and alleviate pain, utilizing tools such as resistance bands, weights, and ultrasound therapy.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and provide guidance on at-home exercises to promote long-term success and recovery.
• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily engage with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population seeks personalized care plans to aid their rehabilitation journey, and you will play a key role in helping them achieve their health goals.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; additional qualifications such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and familiarity with managing postoperative recovery.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
