Work Environment
Your work setting will be within our modern outpatient office, designed to support a seamless rehabilitation process. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, ensuring comprehensive care for every patient. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, inviting you to enjoy a work-life balance while contributing to the well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and limitations.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based techniques.
- Utilize modalities and hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to foster healing.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
- Prepare detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with state regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about recovery strategies, home exercises, and self-management techniques to optimize their rehabilitation journey.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing insights for patient care improvement and sharing best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
At Good Reps Rehab Center, our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This includes individuals with joint replacements, traumatic injuries, and chronic pain conditions striving to regain strength and function. You will interact closely with diverse patient demographics, tailoring your approach to the unique needs and goals of each individual.
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly in orthopedics.

Compensation and Benefits
