Company Overview
Performance Rehabilitation was founded in 1991 by Steve Srebnik, PT, MSPT, MS, CHT. At the time there weren't any PT owned physical therapy practices in Yonkers, the 4th largest city in New York. Mr Srebnik graduated from Boston University's Sargent College in 1986 and 5 years later brought a new level of care and clinical skills to the area. Needless to say the practice grew steadily and we opened a second location in the Pelham Parkway area of the Bronx in 2006.
The practice has primarily an orthopedic and sports medicine caseload and we have a dedicated hand therapy program. Mr. Srebnik received his certification as a hand therapy specialist 10 years ago.
In addition to the day to day management of patients we have many other community oriented programs including our Peak Performance sports conditioning program provided in local high schools. We are also actively involved with local seniors, road race organizations and the Arthritis Foundation. We also hold monthly seminars on a variety of topics called our TNT for Tuesday Night Talks
