Company Profile

Metro Physical Therapy

Company Overview

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy has grown to become the largest family owned and operated Rehabilitation practices on Long Island. Metro is proud to be the only practice on Long Island where you can get all of your services at one convenient location. If a patient is unable to travel to any of Metro’s 15 locations in Nassau & Suffolk County, we are pleased to offer In Home Therapy and bring any of the services you need to you in the comfort of your own home. Metro has grown to over 250 Therapists across 4 states (New York, Florida, Connecticut & Virginia). The beautiful spa-like outpatient offices offer heated salt water pools, full fitness centers, and state of the art equipment including game ready ice compression, electric stim, cold laser and ultrasound heat. Our therapists spend 60+ minutes with every single patient and our patient outcomes are high because of how experienced our therapists are.

We also offer affordable additional wellness programs if and when insurance exhausts. Our classes include Mat Pilates, Silver Sneakers, and Dance for Parkinson's. We also offer personal training and gym memberships. Our state-of-the-art fitness centers allow patients to stay "in therapy" at a lower price than most copays.

In addition to feeling physically well again, Metro is happy to connect any patient with Metro Therapy Now, a Mental Health program we have a great relationship with. Patients who may struggle with chronic pain, depression, anxiety, phobias, substance abuse or have a family member who can benefit from this affiliation are offered in Metro’s Bethpage & Huntington locations and also offer virtual programs.
