Repsher Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, personable Physical Therapist to join our established outpatient practice in Albany, New York. We are an independently owned physical therapy practice that has served the Capital Region since 1980, with a strong commitment to providing individualized, high-quality patient care.

Our therapists work in a collaborative environment that values clinical judgment, professional autonomy, continued learning, and the ability to spend meaningful time with patients. We treat a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, balance and vestibular disorders, and patients working to return to higher levels of activity and function.

The Position

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients across a broad range of diagnoses while developing individualized plans of care based on each patient's goals and functional needs. Our therapists are encouraged to use their clinical judgment and individual treatment style while collaborating with an experienced team of clinicians.

Responsibilities include:

*Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
*Provide evidence-based treatment utilizing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other appropriate interventions
*Progress patients safely through the rehabilitation continuum toward work, recreation, fitness, and sport
*Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, home exercise program, and strategies for long-term management
*Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
*Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers
*Collaborate with fellow therapists and staff to contribute to a positive, professional clinical environment
*Maintain applicable professional and regulatory standards

Our Practice

Our approximately 7,000-square-foot Albany facility provides therapists with the space, equipment, and clinical resources to treat patients throughout the rehabilitation continuum—from early-stage recovery through advanced strengthening, balance, and return-to-sport training.

Our clinical resources include advanced balance and gait technology, a ceiling-mounted safety harness system, therapeutic laser, blood flow restriction training, surface EMG biofeedback, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, compression and cold therapy, strength and performance equipment, and other rehabilitation technologies.

Our clinicians bring experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), vestibular rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention, manual therapy, and post-operative rehabilitation. This diversity of experience creates a collaborative setting where clinicians can learn from one another while continuing to develop their own areas of interest and expertise.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current New York State Physical Therapist license or eligibility for New York State licensure
• Strong clinical reasoning and commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other clinicians and staff
• Commitment to professional growth and continuing education
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
