Wage Range: $45.42 - $72.68 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
EvergreenHealth is seeking a motivated and skilled Hand Therapist to join our expanding Outpatient Therapy Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate patient care. Our primary clinic is located in the DeYoung Pavilion across from EvergreenHealth’s main campus in Kirkland, with an additional satellite clinic in Kenmore, Washington. We welcome applicants who are Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) as well as those actively working toward certification.
About the Role
As a Hand Therapist at EvergreenHealth, you will work closely with referring hand and orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive care for patients with upper extremity conditions. You’ll treat a wide range of diagnoses, including:
- Tendon and ligament injuries
- Fractures
- Peripheral nerve injuries
- Repetitive strain injuries
- Arthritis
- Dupuytren’s contracture
Your clinical services will include post-operative management, custom splinting, joint mobilization, manual therapy, edema management, modalities, taping techniques, wound and scar care, and progressive therapeutic exercise programs. Primary Duties:
- Provide evidence-based evaluations and treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes for patients with upper extremity conditions.
- Develop realistic and meaningful treatment goals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate reliability in attendance, punctuality, and follow-through on all responsibilities.
- Complete documentation and clinical duties in alignment with organizational policies, values, and timelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations.
Requirements
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Minimum 2 years of experience treating hand and upper extremity conditions.
- Washington State Occupational Therapy License (OT).
- Baccalaureate, Master’s Degree, or certificate in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification (or obtained by date of hire).
- Knowledge and training in caring for patients from young adult through geriatric populations.
DESIRED for the position:
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
- Active membership in a professional organization related to hand therapy or rehabilitation.
